I hope that your Christmas was truly merry and bright. Merry meaning that you found time to be filled with the joy that Christ brought into the world through His life. And bright as lit with the radiance and hope that He left with us through the Holy Spirit.
A Greek sage, Epictetus, was born a slave yet wrote, “He is a wise man who does not grieve for the things which he has not, but rejoices for those which he has.”
Whose words can easily be lost in the pre-, last-minute and post-Christmas sales. Advertisements bombard us with finding the perfect gift when, in fact, the only gift that is perfect is that of Jesus’ love and forgiveness. Commercialism is the things we receive but Christmas spirit is the warmth and caring of humanity. No matter what material gifts we give, this season and throughout the year at Bombtech Golf, may they be wrapped with our love, forgiveness, compassion, generosity and encouragement.
Best wishes for a New Year. How are you going to make each day merry and bright for those around you?
